**IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT OUR BUTTERS! PLEASE READ**
On warm or hot days, you may need to refrigerate the jar before opening as the contents may have softened or melted during transit and make a mess. Softening or melting does not affect the quality or effectiveness of our butters or scrubs.
Whipped Butters: If the butter has softened or melted during transit, place in the refrigerator. The melting will not affect the quality of the butter as an amazing moisturizer, but the consistency will change. It may become more like a balm rather than like whipped cream. Whipping adds air bubbles that increase the size and lightens the density making the butter light and fluffy. If a whipped butter melts, the air bubbles will collapse so the volume is decreased. So, although the jar was filled to the top, if the butter melts, there will be less volume. You may want to scoop out the butter and whip it again with an electric mixer. The butter must be very cold to do this.
We do our very best to protect our products from melting during transit by wrapping in eco-friendly wrap to give a layer of insulation and protection. As a result, most products shipped in warm weather arrive without melting. But please understand there is no way we can ship products and completely control the high heat temperatures of the weather, trucks and mailboxes. Please do not leave your SBG order in the mailbox. Watch your tracking number to keep an eye out for the delivery date.
